Currently only PDF file types are supported:

The PDF Viewer is not dependent on the Adobe Acrobat® reader to display files and therefore will not clash with any existing Adobe® readers installed. The PDF Viewer provides the basic facilities of the Acrobat® reader including an Outline Viewer and Search facilities.

When you open a PDF page the left hand docking window will show the PDF Explorer in place of other explorers.  Beneath the view page is a toolbar for document navigation, sizing and search. You can open the file up in your PDF favourite PDF Viewer by clicking on the PDF button at the right hand end of the toolbar.
