On initial start-up of Positron Studio a Welcome page will appear in the Workspace.  
You can turn this feature off in Tools, Options. 

The welcome screen provides quick links to:

  • New or existing project or file
  • Recently used files
  • User Manuals
  • This help file
  • The Positron Forum and the Microchip® web sites.


The lower part of the welcome page shows a table of sample files provided with the PDS compiler.  
You can open any of these files in the editor by double clicking on the item.


As you open more pages tabs will appear at the top of the workspace

  • You can click on a tab to move the editor to that page OR
  • Click on the drop-down arrow at the right-hand end of the tabs area and select the required tab.


When you have more tabs open than can be viewed in the tab area you can use the left and right arrows to bring more tabs into view.
