The Clippings List is an area where you can deposit small sections of code for later use in your editing, making it in effect a multi item clipboard.  You can

Add an Item to the Clip List

There are two main ways of copying to the clip list:

  • Drag and Drop  - Select the section of code you wish to add to the Clip List and drag the selection into the Clip List area in the right hand side panel.

  • Copy - With the Capture Clipboard checked in Clip List, anything copied to the clipboard will also be copied to the Clip list.

In both cases when you drag text to the Clip List you will be asked to add a caption, this caption is used as the basis for identifying saved Clippings.  A truncated section of the Text will appear in the Clip list with a Caption if it had been previously entered.
