Configure Tools Dialog 


Third Party Applications can be run from Positron Studio. These external applications when added will appearw as additional menu items at the end of the tools menu. Thereafter, selecting the item in the menu will start that application.

Use the Configure Tools dialog to Add or Remove the link to an external application.  


You can also add separators if required to separate groups of tools.

will remove the highlighted item from the menu

Use the arrow buttons to move the position of an application in the list.


 

When adding an Application you can start the application in one of 2 ways by selecting the Run Mode:

  • Start and Return will start the application and return immediately to Positron Studio.
  • Start and Wait will start the application as a Blocking program and you cannot return to Positron Studio until that application has been closed.


Note - If you have started a 3rd party application from Positron Studio, Positron Studio cannot be closed until that 3rd Party application has been closed.
