Miscellaneous Overview

This tab covers the Back Up Wizard Settings and Search/Replace Options:

Backup Wizard

By default the Back up wizard will create backups in the Source file directory.

You can choose to Backup to Source Sub-folder to place the archive in the defined Backup Folder Name. By default the sub-folder name is Archive but this can be changed. If the folder doesn't exist it will be created when back up is next run.

Checking Back Up after error free compile will create a backup in the background every time an error free compilation has been run.  No notes will be added to auto-backups.

You can set a limit to the number of back up files allowed in an archive.  If the set limit is exceeded the oldest unlocked back up file will be overwritten.  A setting of zero means there is no limit to the number of back up files created.

Search/Replace

Search and Replace can hold a list of Search Texts and Replace Texts.  How these lists are handled are determined by the Keep and Save list checkboxes.

Device Data Sheets

Set the folder in which you want to store saved DataSheets.  By default, it will be in a sub directory of your Documents directory.  e.g. <UserName>\Documents\DeviceDataSheets\.

There are 2 check boxes:

Auto Save on Download, this would normally be the default and any file downloaded will be saved to the above path.

If it is Unchecked you will be asked each time you download if you wish to save the file.

If Allow Alternative Save Location, if checked you can choose where you want that file saved.

Block Line Settings

Show both Pre-Processor and Compiler Commands

Show Pre-Processor only commands

Show Compiler only commands

These settings effectively offer a filter on the scope covered by the Block lines bracketing. It is recommended that you default to Compiler
